Pre-purchase property inspection on Gran Canaria

Planning to buy a property on the island? We inspect it from a renovation perspective and identify visible defects and renovation needs.

What we inspect

We look at the property's visible condition: walls, ceilings and floors, signs of damp and water damage, bathrooms and waterproofing, the kitchen, the condition of installations, windows and doors, and terraces and outdoor areas.

If the roof is accessible, we inspect that too. We note visible cracks and neglected maintenance that could result in costs after the purchase.

  • Damp and water damage
  • Walls, ceilings and floors
  • Bathrooms and waterproofing
  • Kitchen
  • General overview of water supply, drainage and electrics
  • Air conditioning and ventilation
  • Windows, doors and solar shading
  • Terraces and visible cracks

What you receive

You receive an overview of what we have seen and what the necessary work normally involves, so you can take it into account before making an offer.

This is a technical review focused on renovation, not a legal or officially approved valuation of the property.

From inspection to renovation

If you go ahead with the purchase, we can move straight on to planning the renovation, as we already know the property.
