Renovated bathroom with tiling and new fittings on Gran Canaria

The whole bathroom, done properly

Bathrooms on the island often have old pipes, waste pipes with an insufficient fall and finishes laid directly onto the substrate without effective waterproofing. We strip back to the substrate and rebuild the bathroom with new installations.

We replace water and waste pipes where needed, install waterproofing, lay wall and floor tiles and fit new furniture, mixer taps, shower fittings and lighting.

  • Strip-out and waste removal
  • New water and waste pipes
  • Waterproofing and falls towards the drain
  • Wall and floor tiles and mosaics
  • Shower screen or bath
  • Washbasin, toilet and mixer taps
  • Lighting and sockets
  • Ventilation and extraction

Moisture and ventilation

Moisture is the most common reason bathrooms need renovating again after a few years. We review how moisture is ventilated out and improve the extraction and fan where needed.

If there are signs of damp damage in walls or adjoining rooms, we address this as part of the same project.

Guest bathrooms and cloakrooms

Smaller cloakrooms and guest bathrooms are renovated using the same construction methods, but often take less time. We can also replace just the fittings and finishes when the pipes and waterproofing are in good condition.

Frequently asked questions

Does the whole bathroom need to be stripped out?
Not always. If the pipes, drainage and waterproofing are in good condition, we can replace the fittings and finishes. Where installations are old or there is damp damage, we strip back to the substrate.
Can I stay at home during the renovation?
Yes, if the property has a second bathroom. We discuss how the work will affect the property before we begin.
